Great websites/youtube clips for Year 1 learning and fun

Here is a link for ‘Go Noodle’ which is a website full of dance and movement videos. We use it heaps at school and the children love it

Jack Hartman is someone we use lots for sight word learning, phonics including letter formations numbers in maths, hello songs and just lots of amazing wiggle busters. Your children will recognise him straight away and love to learn with him.

Here is our Year 1 google slideshow of all the cool songs we sing in class. Hopefully, we have made it so everyone can view it and share the songs with our kids so they still feel connected

A great yoga website based around fun stories. We use this daily in class and it helps with relaxation, mindfulness, physical exercise and just having fun!

Finally here is a clip we all use if our little people need to work on controlling anger, anxiety or just need to calm down. We have a calm down spot in our room, with blankets, cushions, bubble wrap. Teddies etc and we practice this ‘belly breathing’ daily.
