Chunk, Check, Cheer – After our school wide in service of CCC we have implemented components of the programme into our classroom and hope to see some great results in spelling and reading.

Reports – All the teachers are busy writing their Progress reports and testing all children for reading, writing, maths and spelling.  We continue to write our Achievement Reports which are written on their 2 or 3 years of school anniversary.

Topic  - We are studying Under the Sea and focusing on where creatures live and what they need to survive in their habitats.  We are using the Newspapers in Education resource to help teach this unit.

Jump Rope  - We have started practising our Jump Rope skills ready for the big Jump off day Week 11.

Life Education Truck - We have chosen to cover the Heart and look at how it works.

School of Education Teacher  - Cindy Radich who was previously a teacher-aide at Aberdeen is currently on her final teaching practicum in Room 7.  She has an 8 week teaching section. 

Skoolstars – All the children participated in their own class song and dance, they were so excited to watch themselves.  The children felt very famous!
